Hey Lovely! Im so glad you are here. My name is Jaime and I am the Owner of Simply Beautiful You! I believe finding the right fit in an artist is so important, so here is a little bit about myself! I grew up in a small town in Durham Region and feel like I will always have that small town vibe to me, but inside I am a city girl at heart. Before becoming a makeup artist, I went to Post Secondary for Executive Administration and later became a Licensed Mediator. I spent time working in the corporate world but felt like I was missing something. Makeup has always been my passion. As a young girl you could find me giving makeovers to all my dolls more times than not. As I got older, makeup became a way to express myself. I was always so "jealous" of the girls I saw who were makeup artists, it was something I wanted but didn't think was possible as I had already chosen my career path. Once the pandemic hit I finally decided to take a chance on myself and invest in becoming a certified Makeup Artist. I already knew I was talented in this area, and had the confidence, but to me it is important to also have the credentials and ensure I am delivering top notch skills, techniques and industry standards. I am so grateful that since then my business has taken off and it has fulfilled that missing piece I was looking for! My goal for your big day when booking me is to show you the beauty you already have, make sure you are comfortable and relaxed and overall be your bff for the day!
